Heerlen – Carbon Blue Car Park

For the “Carbon Blue Car Park” project in Heerlen, Carbon 6 b.v. commissioned us to place a helophyte filter.

In this project we united our two expertises, namely Aqua-Flora® and gabions.

The following work was carried out:

• Elaborate sketch design into execution design
• Setting up and cleaning the work area
• Digging the soil out of the existing concrete casing and processing it into the surrounding terrain
• Supplying and placing a waterproof foil at the bottom side of the construction
• Supplying and placing gabions in the helophyte filter for setting off the differences in height and creating settlement basins
• Supplying and placing a topsoil and substrate in the helophyte filter
• Supplying and placing vegetation in the helophyte filter

The Aqua-Flora® plants will be placed in the spring of 2019. Read more about the festive opening of the premises here .
